1. Introduction
Welcome to Littlemore ("we", "us", "our"), an online marketplace available at https://www.littlemore.co.za, where users can browse, buy, and sell new and pre-loved baby and children's goods.
By creating an account, browsing, interacting with sellers, or posting listings on Littlemore, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Definitions
- "User" refers to any person who accesses or uses the platform.
- "Buyer" refers to a user who purchases goods.
- "Seller" refers to a user who lists goods for sale.
- "Listing" refers to any item posted for sale on the platform.
- "Platform" refers to the Littlemore website and related services.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.4 You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
4. Marketplace Role & Disclaimer
4.1 Littlemore acts solely as a facilitator between buyers and sellers.
4.2 We do not:
- Own the goods listed
- Inspect goods
- Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any item
4.3 Transactions are entered into directly between buyers and sellers.
5. Listings & Seller Responsibilities
5.1 Sellers must ensure that:
- Listings are accurate and truthful
- Photos reflect the actual item
- Condition (new or pre-loved) is clearly stated
5.2 Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):
- Recalled baby products
- Unsafe or illegal goods
- Counterfeit items
5.3 Littlemore reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms.
6. Buyer Responsibilities
6.1 Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings carefully before purchasing.
6.2 Any disputes regarding:
- Item condition
- Delivery
- Refunds
must be addressed directly with the seller.
7. Payments & Fees
7.1 Payment methods and applicable fees will be displayed on the platform.
7.2 Littlemore may charge service or transaction fees, which will be clearly communicated.
7.3 We are not responsible for payment disputes between users unless explicitly stated.
8. Delivery & Collection
8.1 Delivery and collection arrangements are agreed upon between buyers and sellers.
8.2 Littlemore is not responsible for:
- Lost items
- Delivery delays
- Damage during transport
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Harass or abuse other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
- Attempt to bypass platform safeguards
Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
10. Content & Intellectual Property
10.1 You retain ownership of content you upload.
10.2 By posting content, you grant Littlemore a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it for platform purposes.
10.3 All platform branding, logos, and design elements remain the property of Littlemore.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
11.1 Littlemore may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- Pose a risk to other users
11.2 Termination does not remove existing obligations between users.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
12.1 Littlemore is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or data
- User-to-user disputes
12.2 Use of the platform is at your own risk.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Littlemore harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your listings
- Your breach of these Terms
14. Privacy
Your use of Littlemore is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal information in accordance with South African law, including POPIA.
15. Changes to These Terms
15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time.
15.2 When changes occur:
- A new version will be published
- Users may be required to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use certain features
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
